Client Onboarding & Engagement Kit
For consultants, agencies, bookkeepers and coaches with 1 to 25 people starting client work on a fixed fee, retainer or hourly basis
For service firms that invoice on terms. Log invoices and payments and see each one's balance, days late and aging bucket, from current to 90 days and over. A weekly dashboard shows who owes what and which reminders are due now.
Add each invoice with its client, date, terms and amount, and the due date, balance, days past due, aging bucket and next reminder work themselves out. A partial payment is its own row. The dashboard lists what is outstanding by client, largest first, and the reminders due today and this week.
Five reminder dates are set from each due date (3 days before, on the day, then 7, 21 and 30 days late) and you can change them to match your terms. A late fee is worked out only if your own terms set one, as a flat fee or a monthly percent; the workbook takes no view on whether a fee is allowed for you. You can pause reminders on an invoice during a payment plan or a dispute. The example follows a consulting firm's 140 invoices.
