Change Order & Allowance Control Kit
For remodelers and general contractors with 1 to 20 people working for homeowners, where changes and allowances come up mid-job
Estimate by cost code, log actual costs and committed subcontracts and purchase orders, and see per job and per phase the variance, the forecast at completion and the projected margin, with a Dashboard across jobs by type, lead source and project manager and a field-form set that feeds it in the same column order.
An estimate is a hypothesis; the job cost report is the test. This tracker holds the estimate by phase code (24 editable remodeler codes), a transaction log of actuals with labor costed at burdened rates, a committed-cost sheet for signed subcontracts and purchase orders, and a job cost summary that shows estimate, actual, open commitments, forecast and variance for any job you pick.
The Dashboard ranks over-budget phases, compares margin by job type, lead source and project manager, shows estimate accuracy by cost code across all jobs and a twelve-month cost trend. Four field forms (job setup and estimate capture, time sheet by cost code, receipt and PO log, subcontractor commitment record) and a draw request worksheet feed the workbook. Pairs with the True Cost & Pricing Calculator for the rates.
